Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hey guys! Holy crap I haven't uploaded a journal since December!

So, I assume you all have noticed my recent obsession with Assassin's Creed 3...

Yes, I am obsessed at the moment, but I also keep having Hetalia feels so you will get a combination of both. I just have many ideas swirling in my head right now for both fandoms and I don't have the time to type/draw them.

I've been busy with classes and softball lately so that is going to be my reason for not uploading stuff. I know I have said that in the past, but I mean it this time. I am taking 19 credit hours at the college I am attending and I am also playing softball here so that is basically a part-time job. I am also a member in a sorority and I have my responsibilities there too.

So, I won't have as much time to fangirl as often as I did. The picture I just uploaded of Haytham took two weeks. I only had about 10 to 15 minutes to work on it at a time and that was the outcome.

And speaking of AC3...I was wondering if you guys would like to see a Modern!AU for it or a Prequel to my story Two Worlds, One Sky. The prequel would be about Ellie's life before and after her father was killed.

Replies would be great because I can only work on one idea at a time.
