Request: CanadaxReader~Ice Skating~

"It's really n-not that bad _______. You get used to it after a while!" Matthew said, grabbing your elbow as you tottered.

You pouted, puffing out your cheeks in irritation. You glanced at your Canadian boyfriend, Matthew; wishing that he didn't convince you to do this. You tottered on your ice skates again, clinging to his arm. He was gliding along easily while you were shuffling along, trying to keep up.

"But I can't!" you whined, basically leaning on him.

He grinned, helping you along. "But you're doing great!"

You couldn't help but grin back. He was so sweet sometimes! You almost slipped again; cursing how the cute moment was ruined. Darn skates.

He helped you balance yourself; still gliding along like a pro. You finally grabbed the edge of the skating rink, stopping your shuffling. Matthew stopped perfectly, balancing on his skates with ease.

You looked up at the huge Christmas tree that was standing beside the ice rink. This was your favorite time of year; nothing you get you in a bad mood. Except for ice skating.

"__-_____?"

"Hm?" you said, glancing at him. He looked so adorable with his Canadian themed hat. He was also wearing the scarf you gave him for Christmas last year.

"I-I'm sorry if you aren't having fun," he mumbled, leaning against the railing.

You looked at him in surprise. Not having fun? "Of course I'm having fun; I was worried about you not having fun!" you laughed, rubbing the back of your neck.

Matthew grinned. "W-why?"

You looked away sheepishly. "Well, you're awesome at skating and stuff because of hockey and I suck at it."

Matthew grinned, scooting closer so that your shoulders touched. Your heart started to pound because this was one of his brave moments; and when he had his brave moments, something sweet usually happened.

"I always have fun with you; it doesn't matter what we're doing either. Just as long as I'm with you," he said, leaning closer.

You felt your cheeks flush. You grinned, looking down at your hands. He intertwined your fingers with his. You looked up at him, heart fluttering.

He gently pressed his lips to yours.

You kissed him back, enjoying the moment.

"Yeah Mattie! Get some!"

You broke apart to see Matthew's brother, Alfred, with his girlfriend, Rosa, skating by. Alfred was whooping and hollering. You giggled as Rosa smacked him on the shoulder.

You looked at Matthew again to see that his whole face was beet red.

"M-maple…"

You giggled, pushing away from the railing; shuffling along again. You tottered. You're arms started to pinwheel as you tried to regain your balance. A strong arm wrapped itself around your waist. You looked up at Matthew appreciatively. He was still beet red.

You held back an amused giggle.

Your boyfriend was so cute sometimes.
