Alice blew her nose and tossed her tissue into the growing pile in the trash can. She sniffed and tried to regain her composure. She wiped her eyes and looked around her art supplies store dejectedly.

This is where we first met...

She pushed the thought out of her mind, hopping off the stool and grabbing a box of paints to put on the shelf. She sniffed again, feeling tears well up in her eyes.

Memories of her and Ludwig's fight kept replaying in her head.

"Get out!" Alice shrieked.

"Alice-"

"No! Get out! If you can't stand how my family and I are just leave!

"Alice, es tut mir lied I-"

"Leave!"

Alice came back to reality, feeling a lump form in her throat. Even though she knew she should have been angry at Ludwig; she just couldn't muster the anger up. She knew how she and her siblings were sometimes.

She wanted to see him again.

Mio dio, what am I going to do? He probably thinks I meant get out for good, it's been three days.

A tap on her shop door snapped her out of her thoughts. Her heart swelled when she saw Ludwig tapping on the window of the door with his knuckle.

Alice slowly made her way over. She frowned and locked the door. Funny, now that she saw him, she was angry. He pressed his forehead on the window and held up a small bouquet of red carnations. He smiled sadly, giving her an apologetic look.

Alice felt tears leak out of her eyes and she rested her hand on the window frame, leaning on the door frame for support.

"Es tut mir lied Alice."

Alice sighed and frowned at him again.

"I won't give up Alice. Please?"

Alice studied him for a moment before finally letting him in. He quickly wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close like she loved. Alice felt all of her anger slip away and she smiled, burying her face into his chest.

If he wasn't going to give up, neither was she.
