Got You Doitsu

Alice sighed and opened her eyes, enjoying the cool breeze. She dug her fingers into the grass beneath her, enjoying the feel of the cool blades running inbetween her fingers. She grinned and looked to her right, seeing if Ludwig was awake.

His eyes were closed and a sigh escaped his parted lips as he slept. Mio dio, I woke up from our siesta before him. Hmmm...

Alice admired his sleeping face for a few moments, since she didn't get to see it often. The normal worry lines in his forehead were non-existent now, his mouth was relaxed instead of in a firm line. Even his eyes looked different.

Alice grinned and decided that nap time was over.

She pounced on top of Ludwig, making him jerk awake.

Alice cradled his head in her hands and said, "Got you!~"

She never got to win against him, so she enjoyed her triumph before he easily rolled her over and caught her instead, laughing.

Just a drabble.

I was trying out a new way to shade and I was playing around with values and different hues.

I think this one is one of my personal favorites because I actually like the shading for once XDD
